Upgrades and Additional Functionality Help Customers More Efficiently
Analyze Loss Trends
PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
To help business insurance customers find loss prevention opportunities
and more efficiently analyze their loss experience, Travelers today
announced a new dashboard within e-CARMA®, the company’s risk
management information suite of tools and services, called Risk Analyzer.
Developed by Travelers
National Accounts and Risk
Management Information Services (RMIS), Risk Analyzer helps risk
management professionals find and compare timely, comprehensive
information about claim activity and loss trends. This newest dashboard,
available to all e-CARMA users this month, reflects improved
visualization and navigation, as well as additional functionality within
the system.
“Through the Risk Analyzer Dashboard, Travelers is offering a
collaborative and consultative approach to monitor, manage and minimize
an organization’s total losses,” said Michael Strietelmeier, Vice
President, RMIS
at Travelers. “We are excited to bring this new technology to the
industry.”
In a single interactive dashboard, Risk Analyzer provides guided
analysis designed to mirror how Travelers’ Risk Control consultants
perform risk assessments. Risk managers can utilize the dashboard to
determine the most prevalent loss causes, injuries or ergonomic cases,
enabling customers to easily manage and evaluate their company’s loss
experience. To better evaluate specific issues, professionals can drill
down from summary information to individual claim details at many points
during the analysis.
Current and potential customers and independent agents and brokers
attending the Risk
and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) 2012 Annual Conference &
Exhibition in Philadelphia this week have the opportunity to preview
this technology. Demonstration activities will include benchmarking key
casualty performance metrics in less than 30 seconds, and touchscreen
exploration of cyber liability exposures and claim catastrophe
management. The demonstration will take place at the Travelers
Booth, #1129.
The e-CARMA suite of products includes the functionality risk managers
need to monitor and analyze performance results on a day-to-day basis.
Functionality includes: claims management, safety analysis, Occupational
Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) tracking, loss forecasting,
loss/frequency rate analysis, key performance trending and risk
management goal tracking. e-CARMA is a proven resource available to more
than 15,000 customers and their agents and brokers. The easy-to-use, customizable
system delivers intuitive functionality, which helps to manage an
organization's total cost of risk.
