The Travelers Institute Chooses Cincinnati for Next Small Business – Big Opportunity

National symposia series addresses challenges small businesses face

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Travelers Institute, the public policy division of The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE:TRV), today will hold its next Small Business – Big Opportunity symposium in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Cincinnati branch. In partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the event will convene public policymakers, industry advocates and local small business owners to promote small business success.

LaVaughn Henry, Vice President and Senior Regional Officer, Cincinnati Branch, Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, will deliver a keynote address on the outlook of the U.S. economy and monetary policy and the implications for small business.

Woodward will lead a panel discussion that will focus on strategies for accessing capital in the current lending environment, cybersecurity concerns and navigating the regulatory landscape. The panel will include Henry and the following industry professionals:

  • Dave Hatter, Solutions Architect, Partner, Definity Partners;
  • Donald Stock, Executive Vice President, Business Banking Market Manager, PNC Bank; and
  • Paul Young, Vice President, Commercial Insurance, CAI Insurance Agency
